The newsletter deadline is the 15th of each month prior to the next month's issue. Organ/Piano Accompanists: St. John the Baptist and St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Churches in Waunakee/Westport, WI are seeking 2-3 accompanists to join our music ministry team. Six weekend masses are offered year-round, as well as additional masses for Holy Days. Instruments include a grand piano, organ, and digital piano. Must have experience accompanying a cantor or small group of singers. As part of the music team, you’ll choose how many masses per weekend or month meet your schedule during quarterly planning meetings. A stipend/mass is available. Fellow in Sacred Music: St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Madison, WI, is seeking a Fellow in Sacred Music to begin as soon as July 1, 2021 or a mutually agreed upon date. The Fellow in Sacred Music is a one-year, part-time position (with the possibility of renewing for a second year) that is especially suited for a current or recent collegiate student seeking to gain additional experience within a highly active and thriving parish music ministry. The candidate should have a minimum bachelor's degree, with exceptional abilities as an organ/piano accompanist, and knowledge of Roman Catholic litergy. Acts as assistant to the Director of Music, accompanies choirs, and directs the Men's and Women's Scholas, among other duties. The salary range is $24,000 - $33,000, depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
