Director of Children and Youth Music Ministry: Midvale Community Lutheran Church (MCLC), Madison, WI, seeks a director of children and youth music ministry. This position is responsible for coordinating Sunday School music, music for the Sunday School Christmas Program and a children/youth choir, as well as working with children and youth to prepare solo and small group offerings in worship. The position is part time. Minister of Music: Faith Lutheran Church in Janesville, WI is seeking a part-time (30-32 hrs/week) Minister of Music, who will be responsible for all aspects of the music program at the church. This includes planning with the pastor, serving and the congregation's principal musician in worship (in person and online), directing musical ensembles (handbells, choir - on COVID break), special music events, and weekly music at Faith's Little Friends daycare. Includes Christmas Eve, Easter, and Holy Week services. Skills in organ, piano, choral singing, and handbells preferred. Approximately $30,000 offered, depending on experience. Organist/Pianist: St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Evansville, WI and St. Augustine in Footville, WI are looking for organists/pianists to play at their weekend Masses. Mass is usually celebrated 5 pm on Saturday and 10:30 am on Sundays at St Paul’s and 8:30 am on Sunday at St Augustine’s. Someone who also sings would be a great addition. Warm-ups will usually be before Mass, but no other rehearsals are expected. This will be a paid position. Music Director: Crossroads United Methodist Church in Waunakee, WI has an opening for a parttime music director. General duties include rehearsing and directing the adult choir (September - May), scheduling keyboardists for weekly services, overseeing the music budget and maintenance of the piano and other instruments, and other administrative-type duties. 10-15 hrs/week; compensation to be negotiated. Pianist/Accompanist: People's United Methodist Church in Oregon, WI needs pianists to accompany the choir and to play in the contemporary band. These are two paid positions, but they could be served by the same person. The choir practices on Wednesdays and sings two Sundays a month (September-May). Organ/Piano Accompanists: St. John the Baptist and St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Churches in Waunakee/Westport, WI are seeking 2-3 accompanists to join our music ministry team. Six weekend masses are offered year-round, as well as additional masses for Holy Days. Instruments include a grand piano, organ, and digital piano. Must have experience accompanying a cantor or small group of singers. As part of the music team, you’ll choose how many masses per weekend or month meet your schedule during quarterly planning meetings. A stipend/mass is available.
