Music Director: Holy Communion Episcopal Church in Lake Geneva, WI is seeking a Music Director to lead our Music Ministry. We are a small traditionally oriented liturgical parish looking for someone who can mix a bit of newer musical experience with our traditional liturgical service. Service music is provided from the 1982 Hymnal. The person we seek will have strong keyboard skills and be capable of leading choir anthems as well as congregational hymns. We have a beautiful 1883 Opus 1144 Hook and Hastings pipe organ (two manual and pedal, mechanical action, 11 ranks) and wonderful Hailun grand piano. Organist/Pianist: The Congregational United Church of Christ in Whitewater, WI is seeking a year around organist/pianist for the 10:00 am Sunday service beginning October 15. The position requires playing suitable music for a Prelude, Postlude, Communion, Offertory, hymns and accompanying the choir or special music. The church has a 3 year old Quantum Q390 Electronic Allen Organ with an 80 stop three-manual console featuring seven distinctive stop lists, plus a grand piano. Church Music Director: St. John's United Church of Christ in Monroe, WI is seeking a professional in the ministry of church music to enrich the worship and spiritual life of a congregation. A 22 hour/week salary position responsible for preparing and providing worship service music, including rehearsing and directing choirs, soloists or ensembles, and serving as organist for the services. Coordinate and prepare the music schedule of choirs, and other musicians for special music throughout the year. Director of Adult Choirs: Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie, WI is seeking a talented musician to join our music staff as Director of Adult Choirs. The director rehearses and leads the Senior Choir, a vibrant group numbering over 35 singers, plus a women’s choir, and a men’s choir. The Senior Choir normally rehearses on Wednesday evenings from September through May and regularly sings at worship on Sundays. The choir may occasionally sing during the summer. The men’s and women’s choirs sing once per month. The position requires about seven to ten hours per week during the program year. Organist: Westminster Presbyterian Church located in northeast Rockford, IL near I-90, is seeking a part-time Organist. Westminster is a thriving faith community with a proud 160-year history, a Holtkamp organ, and reputable music program. The Organist is responsible to plan, prepare, and provide organ and piano music for Westminster’s traditional worship service and other church functions, and work closely with pastoral staff, the choir director, and the church choirs. The Organist will play most Sundays of the year as well as special services including, but not limited to Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter. Bachelor degree in Music is preferred. Organist/Pianist: Congregational United Church of Christ, an Open and Affirming congregation in Evansville, WI, (about 1/2 hour south of Madison via Hwy 14) has an immediate opening for a keyboardist to join our team. She/he will work with the pastor and the music committee to provide music for our worship services using the organ, piano, or the clavinova. This is a part time position requiring availability two Sundays per month. The service begins at 10:30 am, except in the summer months (June, July, August) when the service begins at 9:30. Organist/Pianist: First United Methodist Church, downtown Baraboo, Wisconsin is looking for an organist/pianist to play at Sunday services (10:30 am September - May and 9:00 am June - August). This is a year round position, $150/Sunday, though the number of Sundays off is negotiable. Accompanying the vocal choir, which sings in worship six times a year, would be helpful but not required. The church has a 1980 Wicks two-manual pipe organ. We are a mainline United Methodist congregation that appreciates organ music and enjoys a variety of musical styles.
