Organist/Pianist: Covenant United Methodist Church, 20 North Marr Street, Fond du Lac, WI is looking for a qualified candidate who is an accomplished organist/pianist to play for our weekly worship service (1 service on Sunday at 9 a.m.), accompany our Chancel Choir (September through May - rehearsals on Sunday morning 10:15 - 11:15 a.m.), accompany special music and play for the occasional wedding or funeral/memorial service, or other special services we might have. Organist/Pianist: McFarland Lutheran Church in McFarland, WI is seeking an organist/pianist to provide music for two Sunday worship services weekly. This person would also accompany choir rehearsals one evening a week, and accompany choir performances on Sunday morning. The position is approximately 10 hours/week. Pianist and Choir Director: St. Martinís Lutheran Church in Cross Plains, WI has immediate openings for a pianist to accompany worship services and an adult choir director. The positions may be held by the same person or separately. Our Sunday worship service is at 9:00 am. Pianist Responsibilities: Year around, provide worship music to include prelude, offering, postlude, hymns and liturgy for regular Sunday services as well as special services such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Ash Wednesday, mid-week Lenten, Holy Week and Easter. Collaborate with Pastor and others. Organ skills are welcome but not required. Pay is on per-service basis. Choir Director Responsibilities: From September through April, authorized for up to 7 hours/week, direct one rehearsal per week toward choir participation in worship three Sundays a month as well as special services such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week and Easter. Organist/Choirmaster: All Saints Episcopal Church in Appleton, WI is seeking a part-time organist/choirmaster. Our ideal candidate would be a skilled, faith-centered musician who has at least a bachelorís degree in music, broad musical experience, and a deep appreciation for and knowledge of the Anglican musical tradition. Primary responsibilities will include: 1) playing the organ and leading the adult choir during one Sunday worship service per week and during special seasonal services as needed 2) rehearsing the adult choir, which includes paid choral scholars, at least once per week (this has taken place on Sunday morning before the worship service) with the potential to begin a youth choir 3) selecting the hymns and liturgical music for worship service 4) attending weekly staff meetings 5) playing for wedding and funeral services as needed. This is a part-time salaried position (at least 15 hrs/wk) with benefits to be negotiated. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and within the guidelines of the Association of Anglican Musicians. Director of Music Ministry: Seeking a musically gifted professional to enrich the worship and spiritual life of the congregation. This is a 22 hour/week salaried position. Duties include preparing and providing worship service music, rehearsing and directing choirs, soloist/ensembles, preparing coordinated schedules of all musicians year long and serve as primary musical resource for church funerals, weddings, and special worship celebrations. Organist: The Skaalen Home, a very large retirement community 25 minutes south of Madison in Stoughton, WI, is seeking an organist, preferably also with piano skills, for its chapel worship services. Duties include: traditional prelude/postlude music, short responsive liturgy, and 2 hymns for our 30 minute Sunday morning worship service; monthly Wednesday morning communion services; short afternoon Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve services; and Wednesday morning Lenten services. This position could be filled by one person, or shared by two. We especially need a regular Sunday morning musician, and the weekday services are flexible. Skaalen has a large, formal chapel, with a quality Rodgers organ, and a well-maintained Kawai grand piano. Excellent pay for minimal playing time! Pay is per service.
