Director of Music Ministry: Bristol Lutheran Church, Sun Pairie, WI is looking for a Director of Music Ministry. The position includes directing and accompanying the Chancel Choir (adult) and keyboard responsibilities on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, with one Sunday and one Wednesday off per month. Chancel Choir participates in services roughly 20 times from September thru May and practices on Wednesday evenings at 7:15. Why Bristol? Unlike many congregations they sing and sing well. Choir has about 20 members and can sight read. We have an 8-year-old Kawai 6' grand in the sanctuary and an upright in the conference room. Salary is dependent on experience, with the pay range being up to $140 per Sunday / special service. Wednesday services, that are not a special service, the pay range is up to $55 each. Organist/Pianist - Choir Director: Dale Heights Presbyterian Church, located on the westside of Madison, WI, is seeking a part-time organist (preferred) and/or pianist for its 10 am worship service on Sunday mornings and additional services as appropriate during the church year. The choir director part of the position runs from late August through May, with rehearsal one night per week and a review before the Sunday morning service. The director will select the music and accompany the choir for its weekly selection. Organist/Pianist (30%): First Congregational United Church of Christ in Madison, WI is seeking an Organist/Pianist. Our Sanctuary houses a well-maintained Holtkamp (Opus 1963, 1980; 3 manuals, 38 ranks, mechanical key action) and a 9 ft. Steinway concert grand piano, built in the 1920s. Organist/Pianist will work closely with the Director of Music Ministries to provide music/accompaniment for rehearsals and performances. Part-time Music Director: St. John's Lutheran Church (ELCA), Madison, WI, is seeking a Music Director for 10-15 hours per week, for a salary between $10,400-$15,600 annually depending on skills, experience, and tasks undertaken. The individual must be kind, organized, a decent pianist, good at leading the congregation in singing, enjoy lifting up and using the gifts and skills of people in the congregation and broader community to make music together. The ideal candidate isn't required to be religious, but must be open to working in a religious setting. Regular work hours are Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings in the early spring (during Lent), and church holidays for special services(Christmas, Easter, Holy Week, etc.), as well as every other week for one-hour staff meetings via Zoom.
