Organist/Director of Sacred Music: Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish, in beautiful Dane and Lodi, WI, is looking to hire a Director of Sacred Music and Organist. This is a salaried position, commensurate with background and experience. Principal duties include playing the organ for all Sunday and Holy Day Masses, training cantors, recruiting new members and directing the parish choir(s), selecting appropriate music, and providing educational/instructional opportunities as needed. The preferred candidate should have a basic knowledge of Catholic liturgical principles, he or she should be energetic, desirous of fostering greater beauty at the Mass through the use of sacred music, and comfortable working with people of all ages. Choir Director: The United Methodist Church of Sun Prairie, WI is seeking a part-time director for its Chancel Choir and Singing Churchmen, starting in January 2020. This is an 8-10 hours per week position, September through May. Choir Director/Keyboard Player: First Congregational United Church of Christ of Waukesha, WI seeks a flexible, creative, team-oriented musician who will join us to lead our music ministry. Preferred candidate will have choral directing experience and the ability to rehearse the choir one evening a week. Keyboard skills and/or ability to accompany worship some Sundays is preferred. Choir Director:The United Methodist Church in Lodi, WI is seeking a Choir Director to develop and integrate choral and ensemble music into worship. Specific duties include: prepare, rehearse (on Wednesday evening) and direct choir (Sunday morning); form and rehearse small ensembles and performers for worship and music ministry as necessary; and organize, rehearse, and direct Christmas Cantata with people from the local community. The choir sings at least one Sunday every month during the school year, September through May. This is a salaried position based on approximately 10 hours/ month for nine months of the year. Director of Music Ministry: Bristol Lutheran Church, Sun Prairie, WI has an opening for a position that includes directing and accompanying the Chancel Choir (adult) and keyboard responsibilities on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings (7:15 pm rehearsal). The choir, which sings and sight-reads well, has about 20 members; have an 8-year-old Kawai 6' grand piano in the sanctuary and a 13-rank Casavant organ, which is currently in the final stages of installation.The organist's salary is dependent on experience, with the pay range between $100 and $135 per service; the Chancel Choir salary is between $3500 and $4000 per 9-month annual period.
