Worship Leader: First Lutheran Church of Stoughton, WI is seeking a part-time leader/pianist for a contemporary Sunday service and special services throughout the year. We are looking for a committed Christian who wants to lead an established praise band by selecting music, directing rehearsals and playing keyboards on a grand or electric piano. The position includes 6 – 8 weekends off per year and is available immediately. Organ skills also preferred but not required. Organist/Pianist: Congregational United Church of Christ, an Open and Affirming congregation in Evansville, WI, (about 1/2 hour south of Madison via Hwy 14) has an immediate opening for a keyboardist to join our team. She/he will work with the pastor and the music committee to provide music for our worship services using the organ, piano, or the clavinova. This is a part time position requiring availability two Sundays per month. The service begins at 10:30 am, except in the summer months (June, July, August) when the service begins at 9:30. Adult & Men's Choir Director: Be part of a talented music leadership team at Salem United Church of Christ in Verona, WI where music is an integral part of the congregational worship experience! Part-time position to rehearse the church’s adult choir and men’s choir on Wednesday nights, and direct the choirs for Sunday and special services. Handbell Choir Director: Midvale Community Lutheran Church, Madison, WI seeks a director for its Handbell Choir. The director is a salaried position based on 3-5 hours/week from late-August through May. Responsibilities include coordinating and leading the Handbell Choir during scheduled weekly rehearsals and during worship at least once per month from September to May, including worship on Easter and Christmas Eve. Artistic Director: The Choral Arts Society Chorale (CASC) of Madison, WI is looking for an artistic director to lead an amateur community choir of 25 - 40 singers in weekly rehearsals, develop program themes, select concert music, work with the CASC board to promote the choir and recruit singers. Children's Music Coordinator: Covenant Presbyterian Church in Madison, WI is seeking a part-time Children’s Music Coordinator for an established and comprehensive music program for preschool children through eighth grade. Responsibilities would include recruiting choir members, leading rehearsals on Sunday mornings, directing the choir in worship once a month, recruiting and organizing practices and appearances for the liturgical dancers, meeting with staff for worship and special event planning, and providing communication for parents. Special events could include a Christmas pageant, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School Sing-Alongs and community outreach opportunities. Position is a 10 month/year, 8-10 hours per week position. Music Director: Holy Communion Episcopal Church in Lake Geneva, WI is seeking a Music Director to lead our Music Ministry. We are a small traditionally oriented liturgical parish looking for someone who can mix a bit of newer musical experience with our traditional liturgical service. Service music is provided from the 1982 Hymnal. The person we seek will have strong keyboard skills and be capable of leading choir anthems as well as congregational hymns. A 22 hour/week salary position responsible for preparing and providing worship service music, including rehearsing and directing choirs, soloists or ensembles, and serving as organist for the services.
