Adult Choir Director and/or Music and Worship Coordinator: First Presbyterian Church of Waunakee, WI is seeking an Adult Choir Director, 10 hours per week, $25-$35/hour, depending on experience, with an option for an additional 10-15 hours per week as the Music and Worship Coordinator. Organist/Accompanist: St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church (ELCA), Monona, WI is seeking an organist/accompanist to lead congregational song at Sunday morning services and to accompany choir rehearsals on Wednesday evenings. Additional worship services will include seasonal midweek services, Christmas, Holy Week, Easter, and others throughout the year. The ideal candidate is welcoming, organized, and collaborative, proficient in organ and piano, well versed in a wide range of music styles, and skilled at leading congregational singing. Knowledge of Lutheran liturgies preferred. Our organ is a 30-rank, 29-stop, 2-manual, Parsons Opus 22/Rosales Opus 33 tracker organ and our primary piano is a Yamaha C2 grand. Part-time Director of Music Ministry: St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, west Madison, WI is seeking a candidate for this position, which is 12 hours/week with initial compensation of $23 – $25/hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The only fixed hours at present are Sunday mornings (9 am – 12 pm). St. Dunstan’s is a warm, lively and inclusive congregation with both in-person and Zoom (online) worshipping congregations. The Director of Music Ministry supports our worship life by selecting music, playing piano or organ in worship to support congregational song, working with singers and musicians within the congregation to prepare special music, collaborating with the Rector to plan special liturgies, and continuing to develop our practices of shared music-making for all ages. Our musical repertoire includes both traditional and modern hymnody, “paperless” music, and sacred music from various folk traditions and from around the world.
