Guitarist: Covenant Presbyterian Church in Madison, WI is seeking a guitarist for their piano-led contemporary worship service on Sundays at 9 am. This person would serve as a member of Covenant’s New Day Ensemble, and consistent attendance at most Wednesday rehearsals and Sunday services would be expected. A small stipend is available. Director of Music Ministry: Bristol Lutheran Church, Sun Prairie, WI has an opening for a position that includes directing and accompanying the Chancel Choir (adult) and keyboard responsibilities on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings (7:15 pm rehearsal). The choir, which sings and sight-reads well, has about 20 members; have an 8-year-old Kawai 6' grand piano in the sanctuary and a 13-rank Casavant organ, which is currently in the final stages of installation.The organist's salary is dependent on experience, with the pay range between $100 and $135 per service; the Chancel Choir salary is between $3500 and $4000 per 9-month annual period. Organist/Pianist: McFarland Lutheran Church, McFarland, WI is seeking an organist/pianist to provide music for 3 weekend worship services. This person would also accompany choir rehearsals one evening a week, and accompany the choir on Sunday morning. The position is approximately 10-12 hours/week. Soprano Section Leader: The Parish Choir of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Madison, WI is looking for a soprano section leader. The Parish Choir is primarily composed of volunteers who sing at one Mass each Sunday morning at 10:00 am from September – May, in addition to special celebrations that happen throughout the year, including Christmas Eve & Day, Holy Week, and Easter. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. This position would ideally include attendance at weekly rehearsal as well as attendance at the 10:00 am Mass on Sunday mornings.
